(Carmelites of Mary immaculate fathers of the Mar Thoma Province of Chanda The Charisma of the CMI Congregation is to work out people-oriented Programme sensing the e needs and signs of times. Right from the days of its founder (Blessed Kunakose Ellas Chavara (1805-1 1871),4 has been active in the fields of education, printing, publication, health care, etc.

Carmel High School Gadchiroll was started on 13/06/1992 in three small rented rooms on the Armori Road, Gadcheol. As the number of t reased, it was then shifted the students increased, to another temporary premisers on the Dhanora Road during the same academic year. The primary section got the permission of the Government of Maharashtra during the academic year 1993-1994 and was subsequently recognized by the Zilla Parishad, Gadchiroli
